NC Lacquers

Nitrocellulose lacquers have been used for the last hundred years. It was originally used for musical instruments guitars and cars.

A Nitrocellulose or NC lacquer is also known as duco or lacquer polish and is one of the most used coatings on wooden furniture. It can also be used as a top coating for vehicles and metal furniture.

NC Lacquers contains a combination of resin, nitrocellulose cotton, plasticizer along with solvents. It is an air drying coating which dries into a hard film when exposed to air.

The best way to apply NC lacquer is by spray application.
